Less than 4 hours ago I was at Metric’s show and look who I got to meet (again…this time no mic, and no nervousness in front of 1,000 people listening to my crappy voice)
At the beginning of the concert, Regina told me that, 2 rows behind us, there was a Feist’s doppelgänger.
Turns out she was the original version. The bad thing is that, after we realized it really was Feist, I got pretty nervous and stopped focusing on Emily Haines’ voice…the last thing I remember is having our picture taken while Emily H. and Jimmy S. played an acoustic version of Combat Baby.
And that’s talking to Feist twice in less than one month…the closest I’ll get to seeing them play live Sentimental X’s or this:
